Odessos Shipyard has signed a contract with the major Greek Ro-Ro owner and operator – Neptune Lines for installation of comprehensive and cost-effective Scrubbers and BWTS on series of vessels.
The first subject vessel in this series was welcomed at our Yard (the second – Neptune Thalassa is in progress). She underwent a range of maintenance, repair and retrofit works:

TASK PERFORMED
Scrubber system retrofitting including:
- New scrubber unit
- SW pumps
- Inlet/outlet SW piping
- Reconstruction of exhaust gas piping with by-pass (M Engine, Aux. Engines, Boiler, Incinerator)
- Air-sealed valves
- Electrical, automation and monitoring
- Extension of the funnel structure (3 dimensions) in order to accommodate the scrubber and machinery
- Modification of the Sea chests
Scrubber system retrofitting in numbers:

- SW pipes: 14-20 inch total: 140 m
- Exhaust gas piping dia 450-1200 mm total: 48 m including damper insulation, etc.
