Class renewal, a variety of repair works and maintenance

In September 2018 the seagoing tugboat Lamnalco Magpie, owned by Smit Lamnalco, spent almost 2 months at Odessos Shipyard undergoing class renewal with a variety of major repair works and maintenance.

This is our first project from the Smit Lamnalco Fleet. The long extensive repair of Lamnalco Magpie began with standard drydock works – grit blasting, washing, painting program.

During her stay we encountered some challenges and thanks to our mutual eorts Lamnalco Magpie left our yard in an excellent condition.
